POLONETS Brand in South Korea

On June 29, in Seoul, as part of the most famous competition of designers and models of traditional Korean clothing "Grand Final Korea Hanbok Model Contest 2024", a collection of the famous Ukrainian designer of brand POLONETS, Oksana Polonets was presented.

This year, the Grand Final Contest was dedicated to supporting Ukraine! The event was organized with the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Korea. Models in Ukrainian national costumes from the "Colors of Heritage" collection opened the event, which gathered more than 1,000 guests and 400 participants.

Ms. Oksana Polonets presented a modern collection of exquisite dresses in traditional Ukrainian style. The Korean audience was delighted by the centuries-old cultural traditions of Ukrainian clothing, variety of colors and ornaments!

Ambassador of Ukraine Dmytro Ponomarenko gave a welcome speech, a video about the struggle and courage of the Ukrainians was screened, and the Ambassadors of more than 50 countries wore bow-brooches in yellow and blue colors.

The event became not just a cultural exchange between the two countries, but a powerful signal of support for the Ukrainian people in this difficult time. The guests wished Ukraine a speedy victory!
