Oksana Polonets is a successful and ambitious Ukrainian designer, founder and owner of the POLONETS brand.
POLONETS is a modern luxury embroidered dress in ethnic style, from casual to wedding, each creation is a combination of comfort and exquisite beauty.
Over the years, Oksana Polonets has received dozens of awards and gratitudes. The brand has thousands of satisfied customers in more than 40 countries and has participated in hundreds of shows in Ukraine, Canada, USA, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Greece, Turkey, UAE, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Kuwait, Croatia and Vietnam.
Creative way
In 1999, the designer graduated from the Ukrainian State Academy of Light Industry with a degree in Women's Fashion Designer, and in 2003, with only higher education, designer experience and a passionate dream, she started her own business from scratch.
She won her first victory in the “Autograph-2006” fashion competition and received the Golden Quality Mark.
The year 2007 was special, when the designer created a wardrobe of 5 dresses for the Ukrainian participant of the international beauty contest "Queen of the World". It was the national costume for Maria Cherkunova, that the line of modern Ukrainian clothing began. Shortly afterwards, the first collection of wedding and evening dresses in the national style was created.
In 2010, the POLONETS brand was officially registered.
And in 2015, Oksana Polonets presented the brand's collection for the first time in the United States, Chicago and New Jersey. And at the 88th Academy Awards in Los Angeles, POLONETS dresses were presented on the red carpet.
In 2017, Oksana Polonets' brand was awarded the "Golden Symbol of Quality of National Goods and Services of Ukraine" for a significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian culture. Also this year, the First Lady of Ukraine, Maryna Poroshenko, chose a brand to create festive looks for the solemn events dedicated to the "Independence Day of Ukraine".
In 2018, at the invitation of the Embassy of Ukraine in Thailand, the designer presented a collection of exclusive dresses with Ukrainian embroidery combined with luxurious Thai handmade silk at the international event "Thai Silk International Fashion Week" and "Celebration of Silk", where Ukraine was presented for the first time among more than 50 countries!
In the period from 2015 to 2020, the brand's collections were presented in 15 countries.
In February 2020, the designer improved her skills and studied in Paris the secrets of creating designer clothing collections using the method of French Fashion Houses.
Among the clients of the POLONETS brand are celebrities, show business stars, politicians, as well as all Ukrainians who want to emphasize their national origin and appreciate Ukrainian culture!
The brand team, led by designer Oksana Polonets, consists of 20 masters (designers, tailors, cutters, embroiderers and managers), who professionally implement the most demanding ideas of the artist.
Oksana Polonets' main message is to emphasize that Ukrainian national clothes can be stylish, refined and comfortable every day and at solemn events. She does not betray her principles and always perfectly combines ancient ornaments with modern trends.
Thanks to her persistence, the designer does not stop there and confidently steps forward with her team. She introduces new technologies, develops exclusive designs, creates new collections and closely plans shows so that Ukraine is known around the world and Ukrainians are proud of their native Ukraine!
